Use the Adobe Scan app to turn anything — receipts, notes, documents, photos, business cards, whiteboards — into an Adobe PDF or JPEG file with content you can reuse from each PDF and photo scan.

Tips & Tricks

Download Adobe Scan from the App Store(iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Sign up or sign in using your school email account.

Allow Adobe Scan to access the camera.
Line up the camera to fill the screen as much as possible.
1. Make sure you are in a well lit environment and the app will take the picture automatically.
You may adjust the borders by holding the corners and moving them around.
Tap continue.
If you have additional pages, repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 for every additional page that you would like to scan.
In the bottom right corner of your screen, tap on the image of the paper(s) you scanned.
You may add, reorder, crop, rotate, change the color of, cleanup, resize, and delete the pages.
At the top of your screen, in the center, you may change the name of the file.
1. This will allow you to keep track of and organize your scans.
Tap Save PDF at the top right of your screen.
Tap Share if you want to email the scan as an attachment, create a link to share or access any of your other typical sharing options.

How do I save my original file as a jpg file?

You can save your original image as a .jpg file by going into Settings > Preferences and turning on the Save Originals to Photos feature.

How do I fill and sign a form after scanning it in?

Any PDF you create in Adobe Scan can be filled and signed in Adobe Acrobat. To install Adobe Acrobat for your smartphone or tablet and complete a form, contract, or agreement, simply tap on Fill & Sign in your Recent tab.

Puedes llenar y firmar cualquier PDF que crees en Adobe Scan a través de Adobe Acrobat. Para instalar Adobe Acrobat en tu teléfono o tableta y llenar un documento, presiona Fill & Sign en la pestaña titulada Recent.

Can I save my scan as PDF?

Yes. When you tap Save PDF in Adobe Scan, your file is automatically converted to PDF and saved to your Adobe Document Cloud account.
