Santa Clara County Library District

CUHSD has partnered with the Santa Clara County Library District to provide digital access and physical access to library content for all students.

Access to these resources is an opt-in program, and only families that agreed to send data to Santa Clara County Library District have accounts.

 

BASICS
Logging in
  1.  Go to student.sccl.org.
  2. Enter your account number.
Student accounts are created using your student ID and school district initials in this format:
  • S _ _ _ _ _ _ CUHSD

Example

  • S551234CUHSD

The pin is the birth month and birthday.

  • For example, May 16th is 0516.
Services

You can use your new account to access all of the library’s many online resources. 

  • Download eBooks, graphic novels, and eMagazines. Stream movies, TV shows, and Kanopy Kids. Try streaming/downloading music using Freegal.
  • Need help with your schoolwork? There are printable Encyclopedia Britannica and World Book Encyclopedia articles, Biography in Context, or newspapers.
  • There are Culture Grams, which offers national and international geographical information including maps, statistics, history, and images. Try Lands and Peoples, a resource filled with text and images about countries, cultures, and current events.
  • Get homework help with Brainfuse, an online service offering live tutoring, test preparation and writing assistance. Use Science Online for questions about scientific and mathematical disciplines through definitions, essays, diagrams, biographies, and experiments.
Students may also visit the Campbell Library(77 Harrison Avenue, Campbell, CA 95008) to get a full use card that will permit them to check out books, movies, and other physical items. For identification, please bring along one of the following:
  • Any postmarked mail addressed to you, the student
  • Your student ID card
